I have often mentioned that the period of academia, in my life, was followed by one of "domestication". As expected I filled some time with cooking. I wish I could remember some fancy names of artists that liked to cook and collected recipes, so as to justify my case. Anyway, a friend of mine says that whoever likes to eat well should know how to cook. It sounds similar to "if you want something done properly, do it yourself". Thus I am mastering, slowly, the art of cooking. In this process I write down the recipes I have tried and alter to my tastes. The plausible consequence is that I started illustrating my book of recipes. In this post I am presenting four pages of it (I have meshed up the text, so as to make it indiscernible, since this is not my cooking blog).
